Youth Summit

Youth Summit's aim to provide young people with the opportunity to discuss issues that affect them, their peers and their community, and to enable young people to have an active and meaningful influence in their community.
Through genuine engagement with young people, Council looks to embed young people’s perspective and interests into the work of Council and promote those interests in the wider community. Access to the expertise and capacities of young people allows Council officers and other stakeholders to develop their own skills. Successful consideration of young people in the development of the municipality will bring improved opportunities, infrastructure and service outcomes for all young people.
