What does Whittlesea Community Connections do?

Whittlesea Community Connections (WCC) used to be known as the Community Information Whittlesea. It is a community which provides settlement services for new arrivals, a free legal service and has opportunities for those interested in becoming volunteers.

How much do they charge?

WCC services are provided free of charge.

Who can use WCC?

Anyone in the community with a question or concern can use WCC. You can telephone or come to see a worker at WCC in person. No appointment is needed. For people who have difficulty with the English language, WCC workers use the telephone interpreter service.

What does WCC provide information about?

• Sport and recreation
• Consumer rights
• Legal matters
• Housing and tenancy matters
• Social security rights
• Settlement service for recently arrived migrants and refugees
• Health services
• Transport
• Volunteering
• Emergency relief by appointment to City of Whittlesea residents.
